I tried the Billie, Flamingo and Athena razors. Billie and Athena both have subscriptions where you can get razors mailed to you at a chosen interval. This is convenient but you have to make sure this doesn’t just end up being another never-ending cost you pay. I don’t switch out my razor blade often enough to continuously pay for the subscription but with Billie it’s easy to turn on and off.

All three razors come with a way to hang them in the shower. Flamingo uses a suction cup while Athena and Billie use magnets you stick to your shower. Flamingo is the only one that would be easy to move if needed. Athena has six blades, while the others both have five.

Billie is easily my favorite. It has the best shave, though Flamingo was a close enough second. The Flamingo razor was a little strange to use at first. Athena was my least favorite. It just felt harsh and definitely left me unimpressed.

I haven’t tried the Billie Shave Cream but I will say the Flamingo Foaming Shave Gel is fantastic. Judging by the number of reviews it has on the Target site, others seem to agree. It is also the cheapest at $5.99.

My recommendation is to try the Billie razor with the Flamingo Foaming Shave Gel!
